For the 6th anniversary of Dead by Daylight (DbD) the creators of DbD, Behaviour Interactive, created a competition for the community to create a new cosmetic for any of their characters. They gave 2 weeks for people to create and submit their concepts.

The criteria: "We're looking for a VERY RARE outfit, so your design should ideally:
- Have lots of details / accessories
- Stand out from outfits that character already has
- Fit the character's lore & personality
- Not alter the characters body
- Only have slight VFX if any- nothing too crazy!
- The winning outfit cannot be a linked set, so try to avoid having connected cosmetic pieces (e.g. A hoodie with       the hood up, a dress that cannot be split between the torso and legs etc.)"

Eligibility:
This contest is open to residents of: Canada (excluding Quebec), USA, UK, Japan, France, Germany
Participants must be 18 years old or over. No purchase necessary. The winner will be notified by email 30 days after the contest end date and will have to sign and return a release form to be declared the winner
Hillbilly - The Moonshiner
This cosmetic was designed for the killer "The Hillbilly". This disfigured and disturbed character lives on his deceased parents farm where he would hunt and kill anything that dared to enter its grounds.
Details of this cosmetic include:
- Trusty Banjo
Maybe there was a time where he wasn’t so deprived and could enjoy some classic country music, a time that’s passed and makes him angry about how he was treated and now uses the banjo as an instrument for pain.
- Keeping Shoes Clean
He didn’t have a lot growing up and these are the nicest things hes owned and maybe keeping them clean will help him hold onto a lost part of himself.
- Old Checkered Shirt
A disgruntled item that he grabbed to cover his disfigured and tortured body and maybe even help him feel human again.
- Granpappy's Hat
Maybe not everyone he knew was bad, perhaps his grandfather pitied him and gave him his hat as a sign of affection or maybe he killed his grandfather.
- Over hanging Overalls
Another item that would have been commonly available on the farm but too restricting when worn correctly reminding him of how he once was trapped.
- Unkept Beard and hair
The passing of time catches us all, the long grey beard and shaggy hair showing how the Hillybilly has aged but unkept and unloved as he was.
Ace Visconvti - The Lucky Gambler
This cosmetic was designed for the survivor Ace Visconvti. A charming guy with sharp Italian looks, grey-streaked hair and silver tongue. His heart has always belonged to the cards and will survive against all odds. This cosmetic is set in the old west when playing poker was popular in taverns.
Details of this cosmetic include:
- Cowboy Hat
A sleek black cowboy hat showing he’s up to date with his fashion but doesn’t earn his money with manual labour.
- Lucky Ace Tie Pin
His silver ace tie pin is his lucky charm along with being his name’s sake. It’s also something he can wager if he’s down on his luck.
- Velvet Long Jacket
This jacket isn’t used to protect him from the weather but is a statement of how much wealth he has, or at least appears to have.
- Black Jeans
Cool black trousers that match his hat and shows he knows how to throw an outfit together.
- Matching Cowboy boots to outfit
Not only are his boots clean and match the rest of the outfit, showing he isn’t one for hard work, but they also announce his presence when he enters the local tavern.
- Gold Silk Vest with Floral Design
The showstopper to the outfit, this golden silk vest with floral design really puts him ahead of anyone else who he might meet and guarantees he gets a seat at the poker table
